• Any cancellation made 14 days or more before the reservation start date will result in a full refund of your deposit, minus a $50 processing fee. 

• Changes can be made to your reservation without penalty if done 14 days or more before your reservation start date. Examples of reservation changes include: Adding or removing days to your reservation, changing boats, or changing accessories.

• There are no rainchecks or rescheduling because of rain. Changes to accessories can be made for free at any time.  Extending your reservation can be done for free at any time, based on availability.  

• For cancellations received less than 14 days before the reservation start date, the refund you receive is determined by whether the boat is re-rented for day(s) of your reservation period.  You will be refunded for any days in which we are able to re-rent the boat.   

• We guarantee the boat, but not the weather.
• To protect your reservation, we recommend purchasing Trip Protection.

• If the boat is returned after 5pm, Lessee agrees to pay for OVERTIME at the rate of up to an additional day rental. (Unless otherwise allowed by manager.)

• If you’re renting one of our boats over 25HP the state of New Hampshire requires all operators to have a NH Boating Safety Certificate, or a NASBLA approved boaters license from another state (see below.) Don’t have one? We recommend taking a NASBLA approved course and test prior to your arrival. You can review Boating Education info from the state of New Hampshire here. We can grant you a 14-day temporary license if you pass an online test at our location on or before the day of your reservation! This is an “official test” that smart people routinely fail, so we recommend you study the New Hampshire Boater’s Guide before giving it a go. It only costs $20 each time to take it, that’s pass or fail. 

We are unable to refund rental booking payments due to failed attempts.

We will do our best to reschedule based on our availability if you fail the test.  

• Each rental boat leaves the dock with a full tank of fuel. Once the boat is returned and refueled, the renter is responsible for the amount of fuel consumed during the rental time.

• All boats are equipped with radios & GPS. We try to keep them in service at all times, but we cannot guarantee they will be operational. This is because of the tumultuous relationship that water and electronics have. 

• Pets may result in additional charges if the boat needs excessive cleaning, or any damages caused by your furry friend (call or text us for further information).

• You must be at least 21 years or older to be the primary renter or to operate the boat.
• Open flames, grill, or cooking equipment of any type is prohibited on all rental boats.

Heads up: To rent this boat (or any boat with an engine over 25HP) it is required that all operators to have a NH Boating Safety Certificate, or a NASBLA approved boaters license from another state (see below.)

Please note: Taking the practice exam listed on boat-ed.com/nh DOES NOT administer you a license or a temporary license. To obtain a boating license in NH, the online exam PLUS an inperson proctored exam is required. We do not offer permanent licenses.

• A certificate issued by the US Power Squadron
• A certificate issued by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary
